Anja LINDER

Harpist

BIOGRAPHY

Born into a family of artists, Anja Linder began playing the harp at the Strasbourg Conservatory with Pierre-Michel Vigneau. There she obtained a first prize in harp and chamber music.
She won the first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Arles in 1999 alongside the soprano Nathalie Gaudefroy.
In 2001, a major personal setback forced him to put his musical practice on hold. This event inspired engineers to create a computer-controlled electro-pneumatic harp, the Anjamatic.
In 2010, the prestigious Banque Populaire foundation made her one of its prize-winners and its favourite of the Bagatelle musicals.

An eclectic artist, eager to explore multiple musical universes, Anja Linder has expressed her talent with artists such as François Dumont, Amaury Coeytaux, Michel Legrand, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor and Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
