She also performs as a solo soprano, for example in Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Attracted since always by French melodies, she leaves Japan and moves to France in September 2011.

Mayako is then received in the class of Isabelle Germain and Fabrice Boulanger at the CNSMD of Lyon in Master. She perfected her vocal techniques, both for opera and melodies, and discovered contemporary music. She performs at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna as solo soprano II in Luciano Berio’s Laborintus II; she is Hélène in Paul Hindemith’s Hin und Zurück. In June 2015, the jury will award her a very good mention for her master recital and a special mention for the interpretation of contemporary music.
